Richard John Parfitt, better known as Rick Parfitt, was an English musician, songwriter, and singer. He was born on October 12, 1948, in Woking, Surrey, England, and passed away on December 24, 2016, in Marbella, Spain.
Parfitt was best known as the rhythm guitarist and co-founder of the rock band Status Quo. He joined the band in 1967 and remained a member until his death.
